With age, your body stops producing hyaluronic acid. This acid is what gives your skin volume and keeps it hydrated. If you are looking to restore your skin to a more youthful appearance than dermal fillers might be a great option. Dermal fillers are injections that reduce the signs of aging by restoring volume. Fillers are optimal for smoothing moderate to severe lines and wrinkles, restoring volume loss, and adding enhancements to your features.

BEFORE TREATMENT
Versa is a smooth hyaluronic acid gel that is carefully injected beneath the skin. Once placed, the filler provides immediate volume and support to the treated area. Hyaluronic acid also attracts and retains water, helping maintain hydration and fullness within the tissue. Strategic placement allows your injector to restore volume while maintaining your natural facial shape, movement, and proportions.
It is best to refrain from Aspirin, Nsaids, cod liver oil, essential fatty acids, Ginko Biloba, and Vit A and E for up to 1 week prior to injections and 1 week post injections as these will increase the likelihood of bruising. You may take Arnica tablets 2 days prior to reduce the risk of bruising.

AFTER TREATMENT
Keep your head elevated for 4 hours following the injection and avoid strenuous activities for the initial 24 hours. Cool compresses for the initial 48 hours following the injections is encouraged to reduce swelling. Sleep with the face up and the head slightly elevated. Bruising, swelling, and lumps may be present at the injection site and should subside within 2 weeks.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Results from dermal fillers are noticed almost immediately but take 14 days for the filler to completely integrate. Results from dermal fillers depends on the type but typically last from 6-9 months to up to 2 years.
